Apius SA completed the implementation of the SIEM system at Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego.

The comprehensive cooperation included design and conceptual works, as well as full implementation. As a part of the agreement, the company delivered the equipment, implemented the system and trained the users. The preparation of full post-implementation documentation constituted the last point of the works.  However, neither of companies withdraws from cooperation. Apius will be the Bank's maintenance services provider.

"The tool that we provided allows for comprehensive monitoring of events in the bank's IT applications and environment. Information coming from particular areas and layers is correlated and presented to the system operators on an ongoing basis. This allows BGK to efficiently detect a whole range of threats and block any potential attempts of abuse or extortion", adds Kułacz.
