One of the world's largest producers of network solutions – Ruckus Wireless – informed that together with Apius Technologies it will provide a wireless Internet connection and internal communication network for service outlets and media facilities in the Fan Zone in Gdańsk. 

"Thanks to the system, all fans gathered in the fan zone will be able to participate in the Championship without any problems and benefit from the sporting and artistic events prepared for them. The system built by us supports the organisers of the Fan Zone by ensuring efficient internal communication, supporting the functioning of catering outlets, cleaning and maintenance services regardless of difficult environmental conditions or disturbances caused by bad weather. Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art technologies, there is also no need to worry about problems related to the excessive number of people, which can be expected on match days or during scheduled concerts", says Michał Jarski, Regional Director of Ruckus Wireless for Eastern Europe.

The solution provided by both companies will enable the efficient work of the service outlets and maintenance staff, that will have constant contact with each other. The installation will also guarantee comfort for the media representatives, who will have a fast and efficient access to wireless Internet.  "This is our contribution to the organisation of such an important event. The main provider of technical installations for the fan zone is Łączpol. The system will be launched on June 7 and will be available until July 1, which is the final day of the tournament. It will also work on days when no matches are played. The Fan Zone in Gdańsk will be located at Plac Zebrań Ludowych.
